Optically Isolated, High Current
MOSFET & IGBT Gate Drivers

The IX3120 and IX3180 optically coupled gate drivers include an input infrared LED that is optically coupled to a power output stage. The power output stage is capable of sourcing or sinking 2.5A of peak current, which is ideal for driving IGBTs and MOSFETs in the mid-power range.

These gate driver optocouplers with their low input LED current, high output peak current, and high noise immunity are ideally suited for use in motor control and inverter applications.

The IX3120 and the IX3180 are provided in an 8-pin DIP package and an 8-pin Surface Mount package.
