First, this is fantastic paint. I am constantly painting walls and have used Ben Moore and Sherwin Williams top of the line paint. Ben Moore recently reformulated Regal Select and it is AWFUL. Searching for alternatives led me to Clare. Boy, I am grateful to Ben Moore, because I would never have found this paint if they didn't tinker with their formulas!!! I have a long, windowless hallway that opens up to the kitchen and great room. Three colors preceded Extra Virgin, but none of them were just right. The hallway has white doors (6 single doors and two sets of double doors!!!) and kitchen cabinets are white. The minute I started painting Extra Virgin in the hallway I got very excited. The paint quality is superior and is a joy to paint with. The color is pretty saturated, but it is warm and inviting at the same time. It is a feel-good , saturated color that is not bright, not dark, not garish. I showed the paint to a few people before I applied it. They thought it would look awful. But even unfinished, they are total converts. The hallway is GORGEOUS and eventually the color will wrap around behind the white cabinets in the kitchen. I have purchased Sublime, Daily Greens and Summer Friday to use as accents in rooms that are visible from the great room. Just primed all those walls and will paint them Whipped, and my little 'zen room' off the hallway will be Timeless. I just can't say enough good things about this paint. It is totally transforming this space that is so…
